|Mrs Judi McIntosh is founder and CEO of Swimsational Swim School. She has over
40+ years experience in teaching children of all ages and adults to swim. She was a
guest speaker at the World Aquatic Babies Congress Biennial Conference in 2011.
She is American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified, former American Red Cross
Certified Water Instructor, completed Special Needs Aquatic courses provided by
American Red Cross and International Swim Instructors Assn, former Lifeguard,
former USA CERTIFIED SWIM COACH. Memberships: Judi is a member of
American Red Cross, World Aquatic Babies Congress, International Swim Instructors
Association, National Drowning Prevention Alliance, and has participated in the Safer
Water Safety Challenge Program and "The Worlds Largest Swim Lesson" for Guiness
Book of World Records", on and on.
Swimsational continues to keep abreast of the latest changes and trains their instructors
with their methods through regular H20 meetings. "You can teach an instructor
how to teach our methods, but what we cannot teach them is the LOVE for children", " they
either have that special caring or they don't." We select and teach each and every
instructor our methods but whether they "make the grade" and become a Swimsational
Instructor depends much on attitude as ability. Swimsational Staff must pass a
comprehensive drug screen, a written test, minimum of 50 hours in-water training and
continued education through video and or classroom hours, and maintain current CPR and
First Aid certificates. They are the most highly trained swim instructors in the state. All
instructors are required to have 40 hours classroom, supervised in water evaluation and
